By accessing or using SEHATI's platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this platform.
These terms apply to all users of the platform, including patients, healthcare providers, and administrators.
2. Medical Disclaimer
IMPORTANT: SEHATI provides a platform for connecting patients with licensed healthcare professionals. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult with qualified healthcare providers for medical decisions.
Professional Responsibility: All medical advice and treatment decisions are the responsibility of licensed healthcare providers on our platform.
Emergency Situations: SEHATI is not intended for medical emergencies. Call local emergency services (140 in Lebanon) for urgent medical situations.
Prescription Limitations: Prescriptions and medical recommendations must comply with Lebanese medical regulations and licensing requirements.
3. User Responsibilities
Accurate Information: You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and consultations.
Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activities under your account.
Appropriate Use: Use the platform only for legitimate healthcare purposes and in accordance with these terms.
Compliance: Follow all instructions from healthcare providers and platform guidelines.
4. Healthcare Provider Requirements
Licensing: All healthcare providers must maintain valid Lebanese medical licenses and relevant certifications.
Professional Standards: Providers must adhere to medical ethics, professional standards, and Lebanese healthcare regulations.
Continuing Education: Providers must maintain required continuing education and professional development.
Platform Compliance: Follow all platform policies, security protocols, and patient communication guidelines.
5. Payment Terms
Consultation Fees: Fees are clearly displayed before booking and must be paid in advance for most services.
Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards, MontyPay, Wish Payment, and cash for in-person consultations.
Refund Policy: Refunds are available for cancelled consultations with 24+ hours notice, subject to provider policies.
Insurance: We are working to integrate with Lebanese health insurance providers. Currently, most services are private pay.
6. Privacy and Data Protection
HIPAA Compliance: We maintain strict HIPAA compliance for all health information handling and storage.
Data Security: Your health data is encrypted and stored on secure, certified servers with regular security audits.
Information Sharing: Health information is only shared with your authorized healthcare providers and as required by law.

Maintenance: We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice to users.
Technical Issues: We strive for 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.
Support: Technical support is available 24/7 through multiple channels.
8. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Providing false or misleading health information
- Sharing account credentials with others
- Using the platform for illegal activities
- Attempting to access unauthorized areas or data
- Harassing or inappropriate behavior toward providers or staff
- Violating intellectual property rights
9. Limitation of Liability
Platform Role: SEHATI serves as a technology platform connecting patients with healthcare providers. We are not responsible for medical outcomes or provider decisions.
Technical Issues: We are not liable for damages resulting from technical failures, though we will work to resolve issues promptly.
Third-Party Services: We are not responsible for third-party payment processors, internet service providers, or other external services.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Lebanese law and regulations. Any disputes will be resolved in Lebanese courts, with Beirut as the jurisdiction.
We comply with all applicable Lebanese healthcare, data protection, and consumer protection laws.
